Doesn’t this thing remind you of Cinderella’s carriage to the ball? Just take out the fact that its rusted, gray and not drawn by horses. Nor will I get in and be whisked away to some grand ball (if you’ve been reading you know going to one of these is my dream)! I can do without the glass slippers and the overly-confused prince, though.
This is a pretty casual take on a work outfit. (Maybe a bit too casual for most work environments). An alternate idea would be to tuck in the pink top, keep only the silver chain necklace or the turquoise one and throw on some nude closed-toe heels. If you’re going out to dinner or drinks – take off the blazer, put your hair in a high bun, and throw on some open-toe heels. Its one of those quick-fix outfits.
I love the color and style of this necklace. It’s simple but makes a great addition to my wardrobe since I can wear it year round. By the way, it’s from Jamaica – Thanks Ameeta!
Hope everyone has a great week. It’s a short one for me as I’ll be going to New Orléans for a mini-vacation!
